ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Power shortfall has reduced to 3500 megawatt (MW) as rainfall lashed various cities of Pakistan, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDC) sources, the electricity demand is 18,700 MW whereas the production is 15,200 MW.
Besides this, urban areas are suffering eight hours of power cuts while rural areas have also witnessed eight hours of power cut.
On the other hand, power outage duration in line losses feeders has escalated to 15 hours.
