FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – The court on Wednesday has handed over the apprehended Senior House Officer (SHO) to the police on a five-day physical remand for shooting two boys in Faisalabad, Dunya News reported.
As per details, police personnel tortured media officials forcing them to stop coverage when the accused SHO arrived at the local magistrate court. Media workers staged a protest outside the Central Police Office (CPO) and demanded stern action against the incident.
The detained SHO opened fire at the boys mistaking them for robbers when they were doing photoshoot with a toy gun in Madina Town area of Faisalabad. The victims were taken to the civil hospital for medicinal treatment where a 16-year-old boy Farhan succumbed to the injuries, however, Fahad has been reported in a critical condition.
