KARACHI (Dunya News) – Mumtaz Zardari, Town Municipal Officer (TMO) arrested on corruption accusation on Saturday confessed to aiding in land grabbing by making unauthorized amendments in official documents on orders of prominent political personalities and said that superior officers are also involved in the corruption.
Zardari said that he abetted the land grabbing in Thatha upon orders of influential political personalities.
He confessed to taking bribes for appointments on public sector vacancies and said that superior personalities are also involved in the corruption.
TMO also admitted to corruption in amounts received in the name of development projects.
