Imran Farooq murder case: Suspects arrested from Chaman shifted to Islamabad
Rangers and security agencies will investigate the matter
CHAMAN (Dunya News) – 2 suspects held for their involvement in Imran Farooq murder case near Chaman border have been transferred to Islamabad via special plane on Friday. Decision has been made to interrogate the suspects by forming an investigation team from Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), reported Dunya News.
Suspects Mohsin and Khalid Shamim have been transferred to Islamabad via special plane on the orders of Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar.
According to sources, a decision has been taken to interrogate the suspects by forming an investigation team of FIA. FIA team will investigate according to immigration laws while Sindh police will examine their previous criminal records of the criminals.
Afterwards, Rangers and security agencies will probe the matter.
Sources told that security agencies are investigating the span of absence of the suspects from the country. The security agencies are also looking into the locations where the accused have stayed during their span out of the country, it is learnt.
The suspects will also be interrogated about details of Imran Farooq murder case.
