MULTAN (Dunya News) - A double homicide convict was hanged today (Wednesday) in Multan, Dunya News reported.
The accused Khizar Hayat killed his father-in-law and brother-in-law in 1997 in Khanewal’s area Abdul Hakeem on transaction dispute.
The convict was sentenced to death by a session court.
His mercy appeals were rejected by other high courts and President after which he was executed in the supervision of local magisterate.
His body was later handed over to relatives after medical checkup.
