Summary Save the Children was suspected of being involved in anti-Pakistan activities: Notification
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – International Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Save the Children has started to increase pressure on Pakistan to re-open in Pakistan. The office of the NGO was sealed on the orders of the Interior Ministry in Islamabad on 11th of June and its foreign employees have been ordered to leave the country within a fortnight. Interior Ministry has issued a new notification on Saturday which stated that the previous order of the ministry should be implemented without any change.
According to the notification, Save the Children was suspected of being involved in anti-Pakistan activities. In 2012 as well it was suggested to ban the NGO and the employees were asked to leave Pakistan.
