Summary Government will be given stiff opposition on the matter, said Khawaja Azharul Hassan
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) rejected the Sindh budget tabled on parliament floor on Saturday and called for a shutter-down on Sunday. MQM has appealed to transporter and trader community to observe shutter-down as well, reported Dunya News.
MQM has termed the budget as ‘unfriendly to Sindh’ and has called for province-wide call for shutter down.
It is pertinent to mention here that opposition members began to chant ‘shame shame’ once the budget speech began in Sindh Assembly and staged walk out.
Talking to media outside Sindh Assembly, Khawaja Azharul Hassan rejected the budget outright saying that government will be given stiff opposition on the matter.
