No let up in Karachi violence

The killing of another youth in Orangi Town, Karachi pushed the toll of the dead to nine during the last 24 hours, Dunya News reported on Sunday. According to police, some unidentified persons gunned down a youth in Orangi Town, while in Malir motorcyclists killed former PPP councilor Shoaib Baloch. In Lyari, unidentified persons mowed down a 36-year-old Ijaz; an activist of a banned outfit was also killed in Machar Colony. An ANP member killed in Bihar Colony. Meanwhile, Karachi Police nabbed three alleged target killers, while one of their accomplices managed to flee.
