Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif expressed his sympathies with all those who families who lost their loved ones in the Data Darbar incident. He informed that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif personally went to different hospitals in the city to meet the victims who received injures during the attack. He said to attack a place like the Data Darbar is extremely unfortunate despite the fact that the shrine is religious symbol undisputed between all sects. He termed the incident as very tragic. Nawaz Sharif was addressing a press conference at his residence in Raiwind where he said I dont understand how anyone can carry out such act. Nawaz warned that terrorism is expanding at an alarming rate. He reminded of the fact that during his previous tenure the country was not suffering from the menace of terrorism. He stressed on the need to address the root cause of terrorism. He said that terrorism initiated mainly due to the policies of dictator. Nawaz alleged that no place in the country is safe these days and the terrorists can strike at their on will including, mosques, hospitals, hotels, restaurants and even army headquarters. He revealed the unfortunate fact that criminals are not being brought to justice. He added that Pakistan is being condemned globally and said that Pakistans economy is also suffering. Nawaz expressed dissatisfaction on the fact that politicians are playing the blame game. He said we are just busy in pointing fingers at each other instead of taking any concrete action. We are just doing political point scoring. He pointed out that terrorism is directly linked to foreign policy. He said that intelligence agencies are under federal control. He urged the federal government for enhancing Intelligence sharing. I have suggested Shahbaz Sharif to develop a counter terror force. He added that criticism is extremely unfortunate. We should not look towards Washington to decide our fate. Nawaz said.
