MULTAN (Dunya News) – The polling at Multan’s PP 196 constituency for its by-election has ended and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate is in the lead as per unofficial and inconclusive results with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) following as second place.
Reportedly, workers of PML-N and PTI clashed on various polling stations and votes were cast after making disclosures and instance of display of weapons were also witnessed.
Other violations of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) conducts were also noted. PML-N’s candidate Rana Mehmoodul Hassan reportedly barged into polling booth along with the workers while wearing green camps and made people to stamp ballots.
Hassan also announced victory by making a victory sign following this blatant violation of the conduct.
