NHA increases toll tax

National Highway Authority has increased toll tax on vehicles with an effect from today (Thursday). According to the new directives, toll tax on cars and jeeps is now Rs20 while Rs 30 has been levied on wagons and mini buses; buses and coaches would have to pay Rs 65. Sources said that hike in toll tax would result into rise in fares.
