ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Inquiry commission formed to probe rigging in General Elections 2013 is likely to extend its duration, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the commission had to present its report in 45 days after completing investigation as the deadline is going to end on May 23.
Sources state that commission can extend the inquiry time period by itself.
It is pertinent to mention here that the presidential ordinance regarding the establishment of commission is for 120 days however the government can extend it for further 120 days whereas it will be necessary to approve the ordinance from the National Assembly (NA) for a third expansion.
