LAHORE (Web Desk) – Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on Wednesday approved pre-arrest bail of suspect Awais in supermodel Ayyan Ali’s currency smuggling case, Dunya News reported.
In a request submitted to the court, property dealer Awais pleaded that he has no link with the prime accused.
Awais said he has only purchased property from Ayyan Ali and buying property is not a crime.
Meanwhile, the court approved his request and issued notices to all the respondents. The LHC bench also ordered that the petitioner should not be arrested or harassed till next hearing of the case.
The case hearing was adjourned till May 26.
