Lahore High Court has ordered to release Muhammad Rafiq who was accused of giving training to terrorists. Division bench of LHC led by Chief Justice LHC heard the petition for release of Muhammad Rafiq. It was maintained in the petition that Muhammad Rafiq was a teacher in Sargodha and run his own madrassah. An Anti-terror court of Sargodha had sentenced him with 5 years imprisonment and slapped fine of Rs 50,000. Lawyer of Rafiq maintained in the court that fake cases were registered against him due to political enmity. It was told to the court that no evidence of Rafiqs links with any banned group was proved. Due to which, the LHC ordered to release him.
