Summary Zulfiqar Zaidi and his friend were murdered last night in a hotel of Karachi by unidentified men
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Funeral prayer of DSP Zulfiqar Zaidi’s friend Shehzad was offered on Sunday and he was laid to rest. The two were murdered on Saturday night in a hotel by unidentified men, reported Dunya News.
Shehzad’s funeral prayer was offered in Shah Faisal Colony which was attended by people from all walks of life.
Sindh High Court’s security in-charge DSP Zulfiqar Zaidi and his friend were targeted yesterday while he was sitting in a hotel. The two friends had died on the spot. A passerby named Ejaz also got injured in the incident.
Zulfiqar Zaidi’s wife told that her husband got promoted to DSP from inspector three years ago but he was still getting an inspector’s salary and was never provided with a driver and bodyguard.
Meanwhile, police has recorded the statements of the hotel owner and three eyewitnesses.
