PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Peshawar police on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle heavy amount of weapons and drugs to Punjab and arrested two suspects, Dunya News reported.
While briefing the media Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Shakir Bangash stated that police during checking on motorway recovered three kalashnikovs, seven rifles, 17 pistols and eight kilogram marijuana from a car with number LEF-8829.
The police also arrested two suspects Ubaidullah and Usman Shah.
SP Rural Shakir Bangash also said that the smuggling was being carried out from semi-tribal area Dara Adam Khel to Punjab province.
