Surge in price of pulses observed at Utility Stores
Price increase was a necessary step, stated officials
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A surge in price of pulse was seen in Utility Stores on Thursday as varying pulses increased by 4 to 7 rupees per gram, reported Dunya News.
According to a notification has been issued with regards to increase in the price of pulses, daal chana has been increased by 4 rupees by bringing the price to 74 rupees while price of daal mong has been increased by 6 rupees bring the price to 73 rupees per kilo.
Daal mash saw the most increase in price as it soared by a whooping 7 rupees to 175 rupees per kilo.
According to officials of Utility Stores, the price increase was a necessary step due to surge of prices in open market.
