CM KP appeared angry on the issue of long hours of load shedding during the gathering
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak heavily criticized federal government during his address in assembly. CM KP said that federal government should stop snubbing smaller provinces and give them their due rights adding that they should be given equal share in agreements signed with China. He also announced that he would stage sit-in in front of Parliament on May 12 to protest against load shedding, reported Dunya News.
CM KP appeared angry on the issue of long hours of load shedding during the gathering.
He alleged that Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) itself steals electricity and punishes masses for the deed.
Pervez Khattak said that he will stage sit-in in front of Parliament House in which representatives of all political parties will participate, if load shedding does not end.
He said that federal government should not snub smaller provinces, adding that out of 45 billion dollars worth of agreements, only 2.5 billion is coming to KP’s share.
CM KP said that federal government has to give 146 billion rupees to KP government under electricity expenses but is using delaying tactics instead.
