LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Election Commissioner (EC) Zafar Iqbal Hussain on Saturday has said that almost all possible steps have been taken to ensure holding of fair local body (LB) cantonment boards elections in the province.
He expressed these views in an exclusive talk with Dunya News.
He said that the security has been tightened all across the province in light of the elections. He said that nobody is allowed to bring voters in vans to the polling stations.
Hussain said that the presiding officers have been trained for the job so that they could help the authorities better in holding fair elections.
