Summary Polling for NA-246 is underway in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Prominent parties, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have ensured the preparations to swing in the by-election of National Assembly’s constituency NA-246 is underway in Karachi today (Thursday).
The competition between the parties has devoted the contesting candidates to be enthusiastic in snatching the seat of NA-246 however, the election campaigns arranged by the leaders have faced a war situation.
Chief of PTI warned of the opposition leaders to strike carefully as PTI leader Imran Ismail is also participating in NA-246 by-election while vowing to end the atmosphere of fear and terror from Karachi.
Meanwhile, MQM Chief is assured of his win in by-election as he thinks that Karachi people want MQM’s rule in the metropolis. Kunwer Naveed has been selected by the party leadership for NA-246 constituency.
On the other hand, JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has also geared up to ensure his candidate Rashid Nasim’s win. He said that JI will surely grab the seat, vacant by Nabeel Gabol, this time.

The staffers of the polling stations have been handed over the polling material for the National Assembly (NA) seat by-election in NA-246 constituency under the supervision of the Rangers.
