Summary Participants of rally gave sit-in in front of UN observer mission in Mirpur
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) held protests against violence on Kashmiris and arrests of Hurriyat leaders on Friday. Indian flag was set on fire as protestors claimed that the incidents of violence in Kashmir had revealed the true face of India, reported Dunya News.
The demonstrators displayed placards and banners in solidarity with Kashmir.
Talking to Dunya News, JuD chief Hafiz Saeed said that India is committing state-terrorism by attempting to crush Kashmir’s freedom.
Hafiz Saeed said that Pakistan will raise the issue of Kashmir internationally adding that raising the flag of Pakistan is the right of Kashmir.
Addressing the demonstrations, leader JuD Islamabad Shafiqur Rehman said that India is persecuting Kashmiris on a daily basis.
Shafiqur Rehman said that the recent spate of violence from India had exposed true face of the country, which proclaims to be practitioners of true democracy.
He said the problem of Kashmir should be solved according to aspirations of Kashmiris and UN resolutions.
In another development, rallies were taken out in Mirpur to protest the house arrest of c and arrest of Musarat Alam Bhatt, leaders of Hurriyat.

The participants said on the occasion that European Union, United Nations and other international institutions should take notice of the incident adding that persecution of Kashmiris on chanting Pakistan’s name and raising the green flag is deplorable.
