Jahangir Tarin has sent a letter to Election Commissioner GB

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has termed Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s package to Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) as ‘rigging’ on Tuesday. Jahangir Tareen, leader PTI has said Chief Election Commissioner GB should take notice of PM’s statements and issue him a show-cause notice.

Secretary General of PTI Jahangir Tarin sent a letter to Election Commissioner GB regarding PM’s visit to Gilgit.

It is stated in the letter PM Nawaz Sharif is not only the Prime Minister of the county but also the head of a political party and termed the 47 billion rupees package as ‘rigging’.

Attached with the letter are PTV’s footage of the speech in which PM has announced the package of 47 billion rupees.

It has been demanded by PTI that notice should be taken of the announcements made by PM and he should be issued a show cause notice.
