Summary British police have claimed of completing all the investigation from the already arrested felons.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistani intelligence agencies have contacted with the British police over the initial information gained from the detained key suspect, Moazzam Ali, in Imran Farooq murder case. Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
After an exchange of views over Moazzam’s statement, British government has requested the Scotland Yard to depart as many as three experienced personnel to Pakistan for further investigation from the suspect.
The officials have also been ordered to provide assistance to the Pakistani officials during the case investigation so that they can initiate strict action against the culprits.
As per sources, British police have claimed of completing all the investigation from the already arrested felons in Dr. Imran Farooq murder case.
Earlier, Rangers while raiding a house near Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero arrested a worker of political party named Moazzam Ali, Dunya News reported.
According to details, heavy contingent of Rangers’ officials raided Mutassal House near Abu Tarab Imambargah early morning and arrested Moazzam Ali whereas also confiscated his laptop.
Moreover, the suspect was transferred to undisclosed location for interrogation.
The family protested against his detention and demanded immediate release whereas MQM has denied any relations with Moazzam and said that the family has been living in the area for many years but Moazzam has no links with MQM.
MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq was on his way home from work when he was attacked in Green Lane on Sept 16, 2010 outside his London home. A post-mortem examination found that he died from multiple stab wounds and blunt trauma to the head.
