LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday has accepted Model Town incident’s primary figure, Gullu Butt’s bail plea for hearing after rejecting the reservations leveled by the Registrar Office.
Butt’s counsel maintained before the court that the police registered a case under terrorism laws against his client under political pressure. The trial court sentenced his client without proper evidence and solid proof, he added.
He urged the court to annul the sentence and move towards acquittal.
