Nobody came to rescue me, says Dr Shamsher
The doctor was kidnapped on Saturday evening by unknown assailants.
Karachi (Dunya News) - Kidnapped neurosurgeon of Jinnah Hospital Dr Shamsheer was set free from captivity in injured condition on Hub Rewar Road today (Sunday), Dunya News reported.
While talking to Dunya News, he said that kidnappers kept him blindfolded and neither demanded any ransom nor tortured him.
Dr Shamsher also said that nobody rescued him whereas he went to a private hospital in rickshaw under self-help.
On the other hand, police officials are of the view that kidnappers released Dr Shamsher due to fear of raid.
The doctor was abducted on Saturday evening by unknown assailants from Orangi No.4 when he was going to hospital from his residence.
