Pakistan's parliament respected public opinion: Saudi minister
There is possibility of dialogue with rebels only if they surrender their arms: Saudi Minister
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Saudi Arabia’s minister for religious affairs Doctor Abdul Aziz Abdullah said that Parliament of Pakistan took the decision according to the people s will. He was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday.
He said that the only way to rule Yemen is through election so the rebels cannot be allowed to take over the country by launching civil war.
Talking about the possibly of dialogue with Houthi militia, he said that if the rebels surrender their arms then there could be a possibility of dialogue and the conflict can be resolved through talks.
Abdullah said that it is their heartiest desire to see all of the Muslim countries financially and politically stable. “There are so many aspects of defence ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and there is a very strong relation between both nations due to the brotherhood of Islam”, said Abdullah.
He said that Saudi people love their Pakistani brothers.
