QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Frontier Corps (FC) on Friday has killed a smuggler and arrested another in different operations in Dera Murad Jamali and Dalbandin.
According to the FC spokesperson, the security forces carried out an operation in Dalbandin on a tip off upon which a group of smugglers opened fire on them. The FC returned the fire and killed one smuggler whereas the rest of the criminals ran into Afghanistan territory.
The FC has seized automatic weapons and drugs in heavy amount from their possession. However, the operation is continuing after the exchange of fire.
Separately, the FC in Dera Murad Jamali arrested a smuggler while seized weapons from his possession. The weapons seized include anti-aircraft gun, at least two sub machine guns (SMGs), as many as ten G-3s, at least seven rocket launchers and thousands of cartridges.
