Summary 8 SMG rifles, 77 different types of ammunition was recovered from a graveyard during rangers’ action
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A joint action by police and rangers on Wednesday killed 2 suspects in Karachi. Heavy ammunition was also found from the suspects during the action. A key gangwar operative was killed by the police in Lyari s Chakiwala area in Karachi. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) City Fida Hussain, the gangwar operative known as Hanif DJ was involved in the target killing of 40 people. The suspect kidnapped and then killed numerous citizens.
A drug dealer was killed during clash with police and rangers in Pak Colony area. 2.5kg of drugs were found from the custody of the suspect. 2 accomplices of the killed suspect were arrested.
On the other hand, 8 SMG rifles and 77 different types of ammunition was recovered from a graveyard during rangers’ action in Sherpao Colony.
The Rangers Spokesperson stated that the armaments were hidden in the graveyard due to the threat of operation.
Meanwhile, a police officer named Zaheer-ud-din was shot dead by unknown assailants in Korangi 51-C area.
