Summary IG Sindh said that the law and order situation has improved in Karachi and across Sindh
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali on Saturday said that Sindh Home Department has ordered to form a joint investigation team (JIT) to investigate allegations leveled by death-row inmate Saulat Mirza against MQM, adding that the investigation will be completed in four to five days.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Jamali said that the JIT has been formed under headship of IG Traffic Amir Sheikh. He said the investigation will be concluded in four to five days and action will be taken as per the facts obtained.
He said hundreds of innocent people perished in Baldia Town factory blaze and that the incident is being investigated on priority basis. He said there’s no question about going soft on the suspects.
