The Kala Bagh Dam was the topic of discussion for a second consecutive day at the National Assembly session. PPP MNAs had exchange of harsh words with MNAs from PML-N. Interior Minister Rehman Malik informed the Assembly that charges against him regarding his involvement with Telecommunication Company were baseless.During budget debate in National Assembly, Replying to the allegation of making Rs 30 billion through illegal means, Malik said that he was running a group of diversified business including four channels prior to his appointment as Interior Minister. He said that he would resign if charges against him were proved. Rehman informed that he filed a claim worth Rs 5 billion against the newspaper who has brought up the allegations. Implementation of Value Added Tax was also discussed. The session of the Assembly has been deferred until tomorrow morning.
