Summary
Security forces have re-started operation Bajaur. In a clash in Samsai area of Bajaur region, six militants were killed by security forces and several got injured. On the other side, Security forces killed 5 militants in Charbagh area of Swat. According to sources, militants were getting stronger in Bajaur area after the completion of operation and return of IDPs. After which, operation has been started again with help of helicopters and land troops. Hideouts of militants were targeted in Samsai area in which 6 militant were killed. Unidentified men shot dead two member of peace jirga in Mangal Taan area. The forces launched a search campaign after the incident in Mangal Taan. The troops engaged in a shootout with militants and killed three miscreants in fighting.
