SANAA: (Dunya News) – Two Pakistani girls stranded in Yemen capital Sanaa have appealed before the government of Pakistan to rescue them. Girls said that they were stuck in their homes and wanted the government to rescue them, Dunya News reported.

In an interview with Dunya News, the girls said that they and their kids were completely stranded and had no idea where could they go. They said that Yemen looked like ‘Karbala’ to them. “Houthi rebels are target-killing Pakistanis”, they told. “More lives may be lost if Pakistan government didn’t help on emergency basis”, they added.

Thousands of Pakistanis are stranded in various cities of Yemen and their lives are under threat. Principal of a Pakistani school in Yemen Mrs. Samina said that the conditions were getting worse with every day passing. “There is bombing everywhere. Pakistanis have run out of grocery stocks as well”, she said.

Fiza, another Pakistani girl in Yemen, told that there were around 3000 Pakistanis in Yemen awaited Pakistan’s aid in the war-hit country.

“Pakistanis are being threatened of being bombed”, said Shahzain from Adan. While Asim Khan, also from Adan, said that the Pakistani community was in serious trouble and needed Pakistan government to rescue them.
