FIA begins investigation of Shafqat Hussain case
Deputy Director of FIA has examined records of central jail
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An inquiry has been launched on Friday to investigate the age of killer Shafqat Hussain who murdered a 7-year-old child in Karachi. The criminal Shafqat Hussain has cleaned his beard and moustache in an attempt to look younger, Dunya News reported.
Teams of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and ACL have been formed to investigate into the matter.
Deputy Director of FIA has examined records of central jail to delve deep into the matter.
When the FIA team reached the central jail, the prisoner attempted to avoid the investigation team and it was observed that the prisoner had shaved off his moustache and beard in a bid to look younger than his original age.
The prison authorities informed the investigation team that Shafqat Hussain was not incarcerated when he was underage.
The authorities further added that people under the age of 14 are not kept in the prison.
