Expressing his views while talking to journalists outside Parliament House, Malik said that the entire nation was united in eliminating terrorism. He said there was no conflict with the Punjab government and the federal government was fully cooperating in eradicating the menace of terrorism. Answering a question, he said there were no plans of an army operation in south Punjab. However, he said targeted operation would be conducted after credible intelligence reports. Malik said the fresh wave of terror attacks in Punjab was different from the past and there was a factor of sectarianism in recent attacks.
