KARACHI (Dunya News) – Blast near Barohi Hotel in Orangi Town area of Karachi claimed the life of two people while injured nine people including five workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Dunya News reported on Saturday.
According to Superintendant Police (SP) Orangi Town Ali Asif, the blast was carried out by a remote-controlled device whereas the explosives were placed in a bag under a stall whereas ball-bearing were also used alongwith explosives.
The blast claimed the life of one person, identified as Shakeel Siddique, who died on the spot while the nine severely injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical assistance.

Moreover, police on the complaint of deceased brother registered case of the blast inident against unidentified assailants under the anti-terrorism act whereas section-302 of explosive act has also been included in the case.
