Summary Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman again asks govt to remove the concerns on National Action Plan
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has on Saturday said that the seminaries will be defended at any cost. He asked the government to remove their concerns over National Action Plan before its implementation, Dunya News reported.
Ittehad-e-Tanzeemaat-e-Madaaris (Union of Organizations of Seminaries) finalized its charter in a meeting of the working committee at Jamia-tul-Muntazir, Lahore.
Briefing the media afterwards, Mufti Muneeb said that the seminaries were being harassed. “However, they will be protected at any cost”, he said. He said that the government has been requested time and again to settle the matters through negotiations. “If someone is getting foreign funding, stop them”, he added.
Mufti Muneeb also announced on this occasion that conventions of the seminaries will start from the second week of April.
