Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has assured that he would give employment to around 5,000 Balochs within a week. During a press conference in Quetta on Monday, the PM said that Raza Rabbani would monitor the recruitment process from the PM House. Replying to a question the PM said that he has sought the list of missing Blaochs, and added that the Balochis grievances would be redressed. The PM said that all judicial verdicts would be respected. Earlier while addressing a ceremony at Command and Staff College in Quetta, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has termed extremism and terrorism as main challenges facing the country. The PM said that a distorted law and order situation was being inherited by his government, however, he added that so far the incumbent government has taken many steps to combat both the external and internal crises facing the country.He said after assuming power, the government tried its best to redress the grievances of Balochistan and in this regard a package was approved for the said province by the parliament. He said that the international community hailed Pakistan Army for the ongoing Swat operation.
