Summary Load shedding in summer should not be more than 6 hours in urban and 8 hours in rural areas: PM
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif ordered on Thursday to complete the current electricity generating projects on emergency basis. While talking in Islamabad he said that the time span of load shedding in summer should not be more than 6 hours in urban and 8 hours in rural areas.
PM Nawaz Sharif chaired the 11th meeting of cabinet’s committee for power and electricity. PM ordered to start an action plan unit to complete running electricity projects and complete Jamshoro Power Plant till 2018.
The projects of generating 3600 megawatt electricity through LNG were also discussed during the meeting. PM said that LNG projects should be finished before February 2017.
