The discharge of water from the spillway is continuously increasing while the water discharge from spillway of the Attabad Lake is around 4,430 cusecs. Water is pouring into the lake at 4,933 cusecs. The increase inflow of water is resulting due to the melting of the glaciers.Officials are monitoring the spillway closely at regular intervals. The spillway is being eroded at rapid pace. Meanwhile, locals have said they are satisfied with food supply provided to them and arrangements made by the government. Land sliding has been reported at periodic intervals.
