30 militants killed in gunship shelling

Around 30 militants have been killed while 42 others injured as security forcess helicopter gunships pounded militants hideouts in Orakzai Agency on Monday. According to sources, the gunship helicopters targeted militants hideouts in Ghalju, Toor Kanturbi and Akhel. Resultantly, 30 militants were killed while seven of their hideouts destroyed in the attack. Forces wrested control of Mulla Khel, Simpaga and adjoining areas many areas of Upper Orakzai. Search and clearance operation is underway in the area.
