Summary SHO Ismail Lashari pleaded before the court to dismiss the case.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) has summoned Inspector General Sindh (IG) and Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Malir tomorrow in a case of killing teenager in fake encounter, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
As per details, two-member bench comprised of Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Maqbool Baqar heard the case.
During the hearing, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sultan Khawaja submitted a copy of FIR filed against Station House Officer (SHO) Sohrab Goth, SHO Sachal and others. He was of the view that police had killed Anees-ur-Rehman, 17, in a forged police encounter.
Anwar Soomro, father of Anees, informed the court that police officers are continuously threatening him whereas SSP Malir has also offered him Rs 25 lac for the elimination of the case.
On the other hand, SHO Ismail Lashari pleaded before the court to dismiss the case.
Subsequently, the court has called on IG Sindh and SSP Malir tomorrow.
