At least 5 people including a police official were slightly injured when five low intensity blasts hit Tibbi City police station area in Lahore, Dunya News reported on Friday. A shadowy outfit Difa-e-Nazriya-e-Pakistan claimed responsibility of the blasts. No loss of life or property has been reported so far. Police cordoned off the area and started search operation. Rescue teams thronged to the area and started relief activities. According to police, these were cracker bombs which were blasted through a time device. DCO Lahore said that purpose of these blasts was to spread fear in the area. Similar blasts had rocked Allama Iqbal town.
