Islamabad: ASF foils attempt to smuggle heroin to Bahrain, Barcelona
ASF took a murderer Muhammad Ikram into custody on his return from Qatar.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled an attempt to smuggle 2kg heroin by nabbing two passengers at Benazir International Airport, Islamabad whereas airport police also detained an Executive Control (ECL) listed suspect on his return from Qatar, Dunya News reported.
As per details, passenger Khaista Rehman was about to fly Bahrain when ASF recovered 2kg heroin and handed her over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for interrogation.
Meanwhile, ASF apprehended another suspect, identified as Qaisar Iqbal, for hiding 25 capsules of heroine in his stomach. The suspect was scheduled to fly Barcelona.
On the other hand, ASF also took a murderer Muhammad Ikram into custody on his return from Qatar. According to the airport police, his name is included in the ECL.
