MULTAN (Dunya news) – 2 laborers on Thursday were killed by firing of a factory’s security guard. The incident took place near a railway crossing in a popcorn factory in Mumtazabad area of Multan. The firing incident occurred when a security guard named Nasir fired two shots in order to check his gun. The shots fired hit two laborers named Zafar and Tariq who were standing on the roof.
According to the details, 32 year old Tariq and 28 year old Zafar died on the spot due to the firing. Police arrived on the scene after the incident was reported. The police then shifted the dead bodies to Nishtar Hospital. The factory was sealed after this event. The security guard Nasir, the owner of the factory and 8 other people have been taken into custody.
According to the police the incident looks suspicious. Evidence is being gathered for further investigation.
