ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday said such bills might cause a divide among the people alleging that various groups were being treated discriminately under 21st Constitutional Amendment Bill and the Army Act Amendment.

Talking to the media  Fazlur Rehman told that he was not taken into confidence over these amendments whereas Pakistan Muslim League Zia’s Ijazul Haq affirmed that JUI-F chief’s apprehensions had earlier been addressed.

He berated the government for acting  immature  adding that terrorism was being associated with religious institutions.

He further told that government got the bill approved during negotiations.

Ijazul Haq on the other hand said he went to visit Fazlur Rehman on the request of Federal Minister Finance Ishaq Dar where he addressed Fazl’s reservations adding that amendment would prove beneficial to the state.
