Summary Former MNA's who were convicted in the previous government appealed in the PHC.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The hearing of fake degree cases along with dual nationality case of former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Aqil Shah and Sardar Ali will be held on January 13 at Peshawar High Court (PHC).
Both of the former MNA’s, who were appointed at high ministries in the previous government, were convicted in the cases of fake degree and dual nationality, against which they appealed in the PHC.
Earlier, former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Javed Tarakai was sentenced to one year in jail and fined Rs 5,000 by a district and sessions judge in a dual-nationality case.
Further, another former MPA Khalifa Abdul Qayyum was sentenced to three years in jail along with Rs 5,000 penalty on the premise of a fake degree.
