KP celebrations: Hazara Division shut, rallies held

Hazara Division is closed on Sunday besides a wheel-jam strike to protest the renaming of NWFP as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Protest demonstrations are also being held to register the anger against the decision. Hazara Action committee is holding a protest meeting at Fawara Chowk, which would be addressed by committee leaders. Former Speaker of the National Assembly Gohar Ayub Khan would lead a procession from Haripur while former Nazim of Mansehra district Sardar Muhammad Yousaf would lead a procession originating from Mansehra district. A protest rally has also been arranged, which is being attended by people from all over the Hazara division in Abbottabad. Meanwhile, the furious demonstrators blocked Shahra-e-Resham.
