Summary The Punjab Assembly session has been adjourned for at least three days
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly on Tuesday accepted a condemning resolution against the terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar killing as many as 135 students and declared it the worst incident of barbarity.
The assembly session was also been adjourned for at least three days as the Prime Minister (PM) announced a three-day mourning all over the country in connection with the incident.
The lawmakers demanded to make an example of terrorists involved in the attack for the years to come.
They also urged unity among the people of the country and support of the Pakistan Army and its operations against terrorism including Zarb-e-Azb for the complete elimination of this evil from the region.
The House ensured the grieving families and parents of the students who have been killed that Punjab stands with them in this difficult time.
