At least four policemen were killed, while two others were injured when suspected militants destroyed twelve tankers in Talagang region, which were carrying fuel for NATO forces in Afghanistan.The tankers were parked on petrol pump when the attack took place causing a huge explosion. The fire spread to other tankers and engulfed shops nearby. RPO Chakwal Aslam Tareen has confirmed the killings of four officers. No-one has claimed responsibility for the attacks. It is pertinent to note that militants also frequently target the supply lorries for US and NATO troops that travel through Pakistani territory.
