KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has requested Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo-moto action for the murdered MQM workers. Former Nazim Hyderabad Kunwar Naved said that none of the murderers of MQM workers was caught during last one year.

Holding a press conference at Khurshid Begum Secretariat in Karachi on Monday, Kunwar Naved said that MQM worker Sajid was kidnapped from the area near airport. He said that Sajid was taken from Airport parking into a double cabin and his dead body was found near Maleer stream three hours later. He accused police of being involved in extra-judicial murders of MQM workers. “MQM workers were also targeted during the membership campaign.

Kunwar Naved told that 104 MQM workers have been murdered during last one year. 24 of the workers were kidnapped after the start of targeted operation, he told. He said that MQM went to all forums but didn’t get the justice. Naved demanded investigation into Sajid’s murder. He alleged that the people who kidnapped Sajid and murdered him later were none other than police officers.
